Tri-M Honor Society Application Form

This is the application for Lebanon Trail High School Chapter of the Tri-M Music Honor Society. If you have meet the requirements during the previous year of high school, fill out the form below.

A member in good standing will graduate with a PINK music honor cord. Membership is open to all music students who have completed the first semester of high school.

Eligibility:

Candidates must be a current member of LTHS Band, Choir, and/or Orchestra.  Candidates must have been in attendance at Lebanon Trail for the equivalent of one year. You may not be involved in Tri-M Honor Society if you no longer are in Band, Choir, or Orchestra.

Music Participation:

Candidates must be enrolled in a school-sponsored music ensemble.

Students must audition for All-Region/All-State Band, Choir, or Orchestra.

Students must participate in Solo and Ensemble.

Academic Achievement:

Candidates must have maintained for the previous semester at least a A average grade or equivalent in music, with at least a B average grade or equivalent in other academic subjects.

Leadership:

Generally speaking, any school or community activity that students are actively involved in will suffice. Leadership roles in both school and community may be considered as long as they can be verified.

Character:

Judgment of character should be free of speculation and rumor. One description of character is a person who demonstrates respect, responsibility, trustworthiness, fairness, caring, and citizenship.
