Voice Lesson Policy
Enhance Your Voice with Private Lessons!
Dear Lebanon Trail School Choir Parents and Students,
Private voice lessons are an invaluable resource for developing individual vocal technique and preparing for various performance opportunities. We strongly encourage all choir students to consider private instruction to enhance their musical journey.
Lesson Structure and Fees
- Weekly 25-minute lessons are offered at a flat monthly rate of $26 per lesson, due on the first of each month.
- Discounted Rate for Lebanon Trail High School Choir Students: A special discounted rate is provided for all currently enrolled Lebanon Trail High School Choir students. This rate offers significant savings, as comparable private voice lessons from experienced professionals outside of school typically cost $50-$75 or more for the same amount of time.
Attendance and Makeup Lessons
- Absences: Please notify your voice teacher at least 24 hours in advance if a student will be absent from a scheduled lesson. If less than 24 hours' notice is given, your teacher is not required to provide a makeup lesson.
- Makeup Lessons: If an absence is excused and proper notice is given, please get with your teacher to reschedule your lesson. For extended absences, please communicate with your teacher to arrange a flexible schedule well in advance of your missed dates.
Prepare for Success!
Private voice lessons are an excellent way to prepare for significant vocal events throughout the school year:
- All-State Auditions: Students will receive dedicated preparation for All-State music and sight-reading using the All-State Music packet. (All-State District Round is typically in September.)
- Musical Auditions: Lessons can focus on preparing repertoire and strengthening vocal skills for school musical auditions. (Musical auditions are typically in October.)
- Solo & Ensemble: Students will receive personalized coaching and repertoire selection for Solo & Ensemble performances. (Solo and Ensemble is typically in January.)
Performance Opportunities
Students may also have the opportunity to prepare and participate in various performance events throughout the school year, including showcases of pop and Broadway tunes!
