Section Leaders:
Director will select Sections Leaders for each section of each choir based upon musical and leadership abilities. They will be responsible for the following:
1. Model excellent behavior and attitude in and out of choir at all times.
2. Demonstrate continued musical excellence and growth
3. Maintain rehearsal focus and assist their fellow choir members in their musical development
4. Ensure that all singers in their section have music, a pencil, and are standing/sitting in their assigned place.
5. Audition for All-Region and/or 9/10 Honor Choir.
6. Attend and help market all social events for their choir(s).
7. Assist the Directors with taking roll at each rehearsal.
8. Other duties as assigned

LTChoir Officers:
Each Choir shall elect two choir representatives and one historian to serve the choir throughout the year. Singers will complete the online application, then the directors will nominate several candidates per choir to be voted upon by the choir based on their application, prior experience and willingness to serve in a leadership position. Each choir member will vote and the candidates that have the top the number of votes will be elected for the respective positions.
Choir Associates will be selected by a committee consisting of choir directors, voice teachers, choir staff members, and LTHS Faculty who will review the applications. Top candidates may be scheduled for in-person interviews. This will mirror a hiring process for a job.
The duties of the ALL Choir Officer Positions are as follows:
1. Model excellent behavior and attitude in and out of choir at all times.
2. Be highly visible, participating members of their choir and the LTHS Choir Program.
3. Work together to share ideas and encourage unity in their choir and throughout the program by helping to plan social activities and functions.
4. Attend and help plan/market all social events for their choir(s).
5. Audition for All-Region Choir & Solo and Ensemble
6. Other duties as assigned
Choir Associates - SELECTED BY COMMITTEE/INTERVIEWS
1. Assist (at least 1 hour per week) in the Choir Library during choir rehearsal times. Setup a regular time to come work with the Choir Directors.
2. Ensure that the Choir Room (and all Practice and Dressing Rooms) is cleaned and setup for future rehearsals at the end of each week on Friday afternoons before you go home.
3. Help Directors plan and recruit student workers for events that are hosted/supported by the LTHS Choir Program (such as Rising Freshman Nights, Region Weekend, Sing-A-Long Movie Party, Choir Banquet, etc.)
4. Help plan and market all choir social events throughout the year to see that they are engaging and well attended.
5. Assist the directors in making sure that the LTHS Choir Website is regularly updated and that any errors are brought to their attention quickly.
6. Other duties as assigned.
Choir Representative Duties - NOMINATED THEN ELECTED
1. Assist with communication between singers and directors.
2. Come to the choir room (and all Practice and Dressing Rooms) to ensure that it is clean (pick up any trash) and setup for rehearsals at least once per week (see assigned times). Come to choir as early as possible and assist the directors in getting the room ready for rehearsal.

3. Assist directors with scheduling issues for each choir by frequently reviewing the online choir calendar
4. Other duties as assigned.
Choir Historian Duties - NOMINATED THEN ELECTED
1. Create/add members to each choir's Facebook Group and assist with communication between directors and the choir
2. Take and collect photos for each choir event, and help the A Cappella Historian create the end-of-year slideshow for the choir banquet.
3. Communicate (and cc Mr. Buntyn on any communications) with Twitter and Sidekick to promote the great things that are happening in the choir program.
4. Assist the choir associates with maintaining a clean choir room
5. Other duties as assigned.
